Previous to this, as mankind was capable of retaining such information peicemeal, such lore was transmitted orally. Unfortunately, the evolutionary and conversly entropic nature of the universe leads to greater and greater complexity, which lessens the ability of man to assimilate all the many nuances of the workings of the world - and writing was initiated for this age. |
